Your retirement pack
There is a lot to understand when considering how to take your retirement benefits, but we provide you with lots of support.
You can request a retirement pack at any time, which will show you your benefit options. You are also supported with an annual retirement statement and you can generate your own illustrative quotation at any time from ePensions.

Timing of your retirement pack
You will receive a retirement pack:
- within 6 months of your chosen retirement age (or the Fund’s Normal Retirement age if you haven’t selected a different age), and
- on request from age 55 by contacting the Pensions Team.
Inside your pack
Your pack will include the following items.
Retirement statement
This will show:
- the value of the benefit options you have from the Fund, and
- the transfer value of your benefits so you can explore your options outside the Fund.
The figures in your pack will account for any required adjustment due to GMP equalisation – see the FAQs for more information.
The forms you may need are available to download from the ePensions site, which you can access from the More online page.
